Rising nearly 6000m above the plains of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro really is one of the continent’s most magnificent sights. Climbing Kili, as the dormant volcano is fondly known, is the challenge of a lifetime and we can help make it a reality. With over 15 years experience organising Kili treks we’ve helped over 2000 people reach the summit.
These days we run most of our trips on the Rongai route which retains a sense of untouched wilderness lost on the more popular Marangu and Machame routes. One of the easier walking routes up Kilimanjaro, it has a relatively gentle gradient and short daily stages as it winds its way from the starting point just south of the Kenya-Tanzania border.
Whichever route you decide to take the climb is a demanding challenge which is rewarded by stunning views of the mountain and the surrounding area. It’s almost impossible to describe the feeling of exhilaration that rushes through you when you stand on the Roof of Africa.
